1) What we do
AmbulanceService.com provides a request intake and routing service that helps connect users with independent transportation providers (including NEMT, wheelchair, stretcher, and related services). We may route your request to one or more providers for quotes and scheduling.
2) Not emergency services
We do not provide emergency response or 911 services. If you believe you have an emergency, call 911 (or local emergency services).
3) Independent providers, not our employees
Transport providers are independent businesses. We do not control their operations, clinical decisions, availability, pricing, timing, or performance. Any contract for transportation services is between you and the provider, unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing.
4) Eligibility and user responsibilities
By using the service, you represent that:
you are at least 18 (or you are using the service with a legal guardian’s permission),
the information you provide is accurate and up to date,
you will use the service lawfully and not misuse it (spam, fraud, harassment, interference).
5) Quotes, scheduling, and cancellations
Quotes and availability are set by providers and may change.
Arrival times are estimates and can be impacted by traffic, weather, or prior trips.
Cancellation and no-show policies may vary by provider and may result in charges.
6) Payments and fees
Depending on how you implement billing, choose one of these models (delete the other):
Option A: Pay provider directly
You pay the provider directly. AmbulanceService.com may receive a referral fee from providers for qualified leads.
Option B: Pay through AmbulanceService.com
If we collect payments, we may charge service fees and pass provider charges through. Payment processing is handled by third-party processors and subject to their terms.
7) Communications, calls, and texts
By providing your contact info, you consent to receive communications from us about your request. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out by replying STOP.
8) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
submit false or misleading requests,
attempt to scrape, probe, or reverse engineer the site,
disrupt the service or overload infrastructure,
use the service for unlawful activity.
9) Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees about:
provider acceptance,
response times,
availability,
pricing, or
outcomes of transportation services.
10) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AmbulanceService.com will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from:
a provider’s acts or omissions,
delays, cancellations, or no-shows,
inaccurate information you submit, or
service interruptions.
If liability is found, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the event giving rise to the claim.
11) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold AmbulanceService.com harmless from claims arising out of:
your misuse of the service,
your violation of these Terms, or
your dispute with a provider.
12) Intellectual property
All site content, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
13) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, used the service fraudulently, or created risk to others or to the platform.
14) Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Exclusive venue for disputes will be state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, unless otherwise required by law.
15) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
